2024 AIPPI Spring Meeting

The AIPPI Spring Meeting was held in Madrid, Spain, from February 22 to 23. Tiago Reis Nobre and Vítor Palmela Fidalgo attended the 2024 edition in Meliá Madrid Princesa Hotel, which featured a variety of panel sessions on relevant topics proposed by the Standing Committees.

New directions and developments in design legislation, patent disclosure requirements for Genetic Resources and Traditional Knowledge, provisional measures before the Unified Patent Court, trademark protection strategies and enforcement in online and virtual spaces and new IP rights for EU industries, including a special program for Spanish-speaking participants (administered by the AIPPI Spanish Group and organized by the Grupo Español de la AIPPI) were some of the main topics discussed in the two-day event.
